We’re so busy with summer events we’re having a little podcast break

Hi lovely reading people.

The summer holidays are really busy in our libraries, so we’re having a little break from making wonderful podcasts so we can entertain children, help people choose books to go on holiday with, set up new projects, organise events and run Writing Rammies.

We might have one or two special podcasts coming out over the summer, but our regular Library Love podcast will next be back on Wednesday 15th August.

We miss you already … come into one of our Falkirk Libraries to say hello!

Coming Soon: Tesco Bank Summer Reading Challenge Scotland
The challenge takes place every year during the summer holidays. You can sign up at your local library, read six books of your choice and collect stickers and other goodies along the way. For this year’s challenge the Beano is working with the Reading Agency to bring Mischief Makers to libraries, featuring all our favourite Beano characters.

Did you know? You can renew your books on line – all you need is your library card and pin number. A handy tip when borrowing items at holiday time, you can ask to take items out for a bit longer than usual, just ask staff for a holiday extension.
